The Loyalist Fifes and Drums is a recreated fife and drum corps of the American Revolution period (1776-1784). The purpose of this group is to honour the important role played by Loyalists.

Fife and Drum Corps Honoured with a Drum Major's baldric

New Baldric.

At The Rose House Museum on September 19th and 20th 2009, the Loyalist Fifes and Drums were presented with a ceremonial Drum Major's Baldric, on behalf of the old and retired Fifes and Drums of the King's Royal Yorkers.

Ft George Fife & Drum Muster 2009

LFD's red coat joined a rainbow of uniforms at the 2009 F&D Muster at Fort George.

LFD once again joined a number of other fife and drum corps for the Ft George Muster at Niagara-on-the-Lake. To everyone's delight, the Colonial Williamsburg Fifes and Drums drove the distance from Virginia to perform with the Muster regulars.

LFD Takes the Cup at Black Creek 2010

This year, the LFD performed a parade on the village green, participated in the installation of the Yorker's Honorary Colonel, and won the Colonel Crawrford Memorial Test Cup in a cricket game. It was a weekend to remember.
